In the year 2020/21, the UK’s Health and Safety Executive (HSE) reported 142 workplace fatalities — most of which were entirely preventable. These tragic figures highlight the critical importance of a proactive approach to health and safety at work.
Everyone has the right to return home safely at the end of their shift. But to ensure that happens, we all need to play a part — by identifying risks, following procedures, and looking out for ourselves and our colleagues.
